Two days ago were announced Latin America’s 50 best restaurants. Central (chefs Pia Leon and Virgilio Martinez), Borago (chef Rodolfo Guzman) and Astrid y Gastón (chef Diego Muñoz) are positioned on the first three places. Chef Enrique Olvera was awarded for his life achievements, Astrid Gutsche was proclaimed as the best pastry chef, Roberta Sudbarack as best female chef and Rodolfo Guzman won the chef’s choice reward. Restaurant Lasai from Rio de Janeiro was the highest new entry.
Our big congratulations go to all who made it to the 50 best list and also to those who did not, but are working hard to make their guests happy. Latin America’s gastronomy is blooming and we are looking forward to more.
