Alberto Landgraf’s Bossa opens in London on 24th of May

The long awaited opening is finally here. Multi-award-winning, globally-renowned chef, Alberto Landgraf, of two Michelin-starred, Oteque, in Rio de Janeiro, will be opening his debut London restaurant, Bossa, on 24th May 2023. Bossa, located in the heart of London between Mayfair and Marylebone, will bring the soul of contemporary Brazil to the British capital with an inviting and energetic dining experience.

Oteque is considered one of the top restaurants globally and is currently placed at number 47 on the World’s 50 Best list. Alberto will bring his expertise, as well as his core team from Brazil, to London’s world-class dining scene. London is a city close to Alberto’s heart, as it is where his first hospitality role was during the early 2000s, working with the likes of Gordon Ramsay and Tom Aikens. With the opening of Bossa, he will be applying his passion for precise cooking techniques, using the best traditional and modern ingredients, to the city where he started his culinary journey.

Alberto will be bringing the vivid and contemporary cuisine of Brazil that he is known for, to the 60 cover restaurant with an open-plan kitchen and a ten-seater dining counter offering guests a front-row seat to watch the chefs at work. The interiors are contemporary and comfortable with banquette seating, atmospheric lighting, bespoke woodwork and large windows flooding the restaurant with natural light during the day. A spacious bar runs along one side of the restaurant and will be the ideal place for a lively pre or post-dinner aperitif, or an after-work drink for those local to the area, whilst guests wanting a more intimate experience can take advantage of the 10-seater private dining room.

Bossa is the culmination of Alberto’s twenty plus years’ experience and his and his team’s dedication to the craft of cooking. A selection of small and large sharing plates will include dishes such as Skewered Duck Hearts with Farofa, Heart of Palm Whole on the Barbeque & Caramelised Brazil Nut Vinaigrette and Roasted Scallops, Leeks, Toasted Buckwheat & Tucupi Sauce. For those wanting an indulgent end to their meal, desserts such as Tonka Panna Cotta with Cupuaçu Jam & Crunchy Cacao nibs and Acai Sorbet with Sugar Cane Bran & Spaced Chocolate will be on offer. Alberto is known for sourcing only the finest produce available with great respect for nature, a respect that will be exemplified in this menu.
