I am living in Notting Hill already more than 7 years but managed to visit The Shed for the first time only today. I have travelled the world looking for the exciting culinary experiences but then I discovered one of those just behind my corner. Actually I wanted to book the Shed already a few times. But last moment bookings for dinner never worked because The Shed is quite beloved place. Run by three Gladwin brothers who are in charge also of a farm and vineyard in Sussex, the Shed is the ultimate farm to table restaurant where all the cooking is based on excellent ingredients but with a touch of multicultural accents which in some way perfectly fit into the diversity of population of Notting Hill. I started with the spiced aubergine with harissa, cinnamon dukkha and tomatoes, continued with baked mackerel, courgette, tomatoes and whey sauce and sweetly finished with vanilla panna cotta, plum compote, cobnuts and dukkan. The Shed is a local eatery with unpretentious but delicious food which I could easily eat every day and very knowledgeable and warm service that makes you feel very welcome and happy. A really enjoyable experience!
