Rodolfo Guzman is definitely one of the world’s most exciting chefs. A passionate explorer of the culinary traditions of the Mapuche people (the indigenous people from south-central Chile), a deeply studious chef with a very strong creative language of his own, Rodolfo has put Chile on the culinary map of the world and got his restaurant Borago listed between world’s 50 best restaurants.

In November is Rodolfo coming to Algarve to explore the region under guidance of Hans Neuner, the Austrian chef who fell in love with Portugal and Algarve so much that he still today doesn’t stop being amazed by its produce, people and culinary traditions. Hans has with his interpretations of the Portuguese cuisine gained for the Ocean restaurant, together with his team, 2 Michelin stars.
Rodolfo will get to know the culinary heritage of Algarve, fishermen, the producers and try Hans’ cuisine at the Ocean. After three days in Algarve, he will, together with Hans, prepare a one off dinner contaminating his own cuisine with Portuguese influences. Are you as curious as I am which ingredients and techniques will move him so much to go out of his comfort zone to cook something that is at least as much Portuguese as Chilean but still very much Rodolfo’s?

You will have an unique opportunity to taste amazing creations of two of the really great chefs in the magical ambient of the two Michelin starred Ocean restaurant with stunning views over the Atlantic ocean. Beside the dinner you can order also a wine pairing (dinner: €230/person, wine pairing: €125/person).
