The 2020 is a challenging year for all of us. A small virus has challenged and changed lives of people all around the world. Italy has been the first strongly affected country in Europe. To avoid the uncontrolled increase in COVID-19 infections and the collapse of the public health system, has Italian government implemented a very rigid lockdown. This meant also closure of all restaurants.
It’s a very hard moment for the hospitality industry, yet impossible to compare with the hardship that medical staff is battling in the hospitals. Thanking to the brave people who everyday save human lives and make tough decisions is essential. So, although restricted in their movements and by the limitations of social distancing, the team of Ristorante Tokuyoshi embraced its motto of doing as much as possible. With the support of his suppliers and trusted collaborators, delivers Yoji Tokuyoshi with his team 50 meals daily to feed the frontline staff. On the 23rd of April has the team delivered the first meals to the San Giuseppe Hospital in Milan.
