Vico Equense, a small town in the greater bay of the Naples metropolitan area, beautifully located on a tuff cliff, will from 29th till 31st of May  transform itself into a big restaurant with hundreds of chefs cooking on the streets and thousands of food lovers enjoying their creations. This will happen in the occasion of the twelfth edition of Festa a Vico. What is Festa a Vico?

It all started twelve years ago, when Gennaro Esposito, the chef owner of the two Michelin starred restaurant La Torre del Saracino hosted the annual meeting of the JRE (Jeunes Restaurateurs d’Europe) which ended with a surprise after-party at Vico.

Guests loved it and suggested to repeat the party every year. And so it happened. Festa a Vico is now an annual event – a great celebration of food and friendship which unites chefs and food-lovers from all the Italy and guests from abroad. It’s a beautiful expression of the Italian passion for life, people and food in a magical setting of the stunningly beautiful Naples bay.

Stunning, isn’t it? And as if love for food, lovely people, beautiful atmosphere and stunning setting were not enough, there is one more motive to join this fabulous celebration: Festa a Vico has also a charitable note – by participating at any of the listed events guests donate directly to one of the charities listed on the event’s website. Now, let the party begin!
