Are you fascinated by the Japanese culture or got special love for sweets? In any of the cases is this event made for you:
Hideko Kawa, who is hosting it, is for sure between the most exciting pastry chefs in the United Kingdom. Her creations, which so beautifully unite her Japanese roots with the European culture, are spectacular – both from the point of flavour and texture as from the visual side. Hideko has been, before founding her consultancy company The Sweet Art Lab, the Head Pastry Chef of Heston Blumenthal’s Fat Duck and Gordon Ramsay’s Royal Hospital Road, so you may have already encountered her great talent there.

For 29th February has Hideko prepared a wonderful experience of Japanese tea united with her fantastic sweets. The tea is a pre-celebration of Japanese Girl’s Day “Momo no Sekku”, but welcomes men as much as women.
Beside the lovely selection of great Japanese teas and Hideko’s sweets will you be able to taste Amazake (Handmade Non- Alcholic Sweet Sake, fermentated rice with Koji), some selected Sakes and have a rare possibility to buy some of the fantastic Hideko’s sweets to enjoy them also at home.
